Sharing a link to a specific page
If you are working on our desktop application and you wish to quickly send your co-worker a link to a specific page, link sharing might be the best solution for you. Especially if your co-worker is also working in Gluu on the web application.
To share a link, click on 'share' in the upper left corner. You can then copy the relevant link.
Protip: The blue rectangle gives you an overview of what you are going to share. To make sure you are sharing the right page, check this overview.
Sharing links with QR codes
If you are working across both applications or you wish to send more links at the same time, QR codes are a better solution. However, you can share any page in the form of a QR code.
To share a link to a page in the form of a QR code, click on the 'Share' icon as suggested in the image above. The blue rectangle shows you the intention of what you will share.
To copy or download the QR code, click on 'QR code'. Here you can decide whether you want to copy it to a clipboard or download it as a PNG or SVG file.
Creating sheets of QR codes
If you wish to share multiple QR codes in one go, you can do so from the following pages:
'Processes' - 'Show Lists'
'Activities' - 'My role's activities
'Activities' - 'All activities'
Decide on which processes/activities you wish to share as a QR code by using our filter. Once you are happy with your list, click on 'QR codes'.
A PDF document with all your information will download automatically.
Using Gluus app to scan QR codes and share links/QR codes
To scan a QR code with our mobile application, go to the menu on the left (to get to the menu click on the three lines in the upper left corner).
You can share links to any work instructions when using our mobile application. To share a specific work instruction page as a QR code, click on the share icon in the upper right corner.

Can I use my normal camera to scan a Gluu QR code?
Yes, you can use your camera. This will take you to the relevant link in your web browser. However, we advise you to use our mobile application for the best results.
The security of link sharing
If you share a link/QR code with your colleague, we will first check if he/she is authorized in Gluu. If they are authorized and have rights to the shared content, they will be automatically directed to the shared page.
If the user is not authorized in Gluu, we will ask him/her to log in to Gluu. If they have the right to see the shared content, they will be redirected to the shared page and logged in to Gluu.
If the user does not have access to see the shared content, the page will not show to them.
