Themes in Elate are the highest level, visionary focus areas for the strategic plan. You can think of these as the annual priorities or pillars (or buckets of work) named for the year ahead in your strategic plan. These should be inspirational, brief, and cross functional across your teams. For example, a theme could be "Grow Our Revenue" or "Create a Best In Class Culture". Once you've added your themes, you're able to link objectives to them to see exactly how the work you're doing impacts the high level strategy!

Theme Performance
Once you've added themes and objectives in, you're able to click into your themes from the main company page to see an overview of how the objectives linked to that theme are doing and see a full list of objectives connected to that theme. Please note that the objectives shown here will be the ones that fall in the duration that is set in the middle of the screen.
You will see a chart for Objective Status (what percentage of objectives are on pace, at risk, behind, or awaiting update) and Objective Performance (what percentage of objectives have gotten better, stayed the same, got worse, or have less than 2 updates).
In addition, you're able to add a description to give your team more context around the theme by select Add a Description under the theme name.
If you have existing objectives you would like to link to this theme, you're able to hit the white Link Objective button to select the appropriate objective.
