You can switch teams in GoJoe challenges — unless the challenge organiser has disabled this option. If allowed, changing teams is quick and easy via the GoJoe app. Don’t worry — your activities and points will move with you!
To leave your current team:
Tap Challenges from the main menu.
Select the relevant challenge.
Go to the Team tab.
Tap into your current team.
Tap Leave Team, then confirm by pressing Leave.
To join a new team:
Go back to the same challenge (via Challenges if needed).
If the challenge no longer appears and you don’t have an event code, it may be invite only. Contact support if you're unsure.
Tap Join Team.
Browse and tap the team you’d like to join.
Hit Join.You’ll see a confirmation once you’ve successfully joined your new team.
⚠️ If the team is full, the Join button won’t appear and a message will let you know.
