Every challenge is set up in one time zone, chosen by the organiser. The challenge start and end times are automatically converted to your local time, based on your device's time zone.
This means the challenge starts and ends at exactly the same moment for everyone, it just shows as a different time on your clock depending on where you are.
Example
A challenge is set to run from 12:00 AM on Day 1 to 11:59 PM on the last day, UK time.
In London, it runs from 12:00 AM on Day 1 to 11:59 PM on the last day.
In New York, it runs from 7:00 PM on the day before Day 1 to 6:59 PM on the last day.
Will activities logged before the challenge starts in my time zone count?
No. Only activities completed after the challenge starts in your local time will count. Using the example above, an activity logged at 3:00 PM on the day before Day 1 in New York won't count, as the challenge doesn't start there until 7:00 PM.
Does anyone get extra time?
No, everyone gets the same amount of time. If the challenge starts earlier in your day, it will also end earlier. In the example above, participants in New York can start logging activities on the evening before Day 1, but the challenge closes for them at 6:59 PM on the last day, while it's still running in the UK.
How can I check the challenge times?
Open the challenge to see the start and end times in your local time zone.
