Why was my activity flagged, and what should I do?

Written by Thea Esguerra

To keep challenges fair and fun for everyone, activities can be flagged for review. Every flagged activity is checked by a Referee, a real person on our team. They look at the activity details, your wearable data and any evidence you provide.

Why activities get flagged

An activity may be flagged if something looks unusual. This might be a speed or distance that’s higher than expected, an activity type that doesn’t match the data, or another participant asking us to take a closer look. A flag doesn’t mean you’ve done anything wrong. It just means we’re double-checking.

What you should do

If our Referee needs more information, they’ll get in touch with you. You can also share evidence with our support team at any time, and they’ll pass it on to the Referees. Helpful evidence includes:

  • A screenshot from your wearable or fitness app showing the activity

  • A photo of your equipment display, for example a treadmill or rowing machine, showing the time and date

What happens next

If the activity is confirmed as genuine, it’s unflagged and the points count towards your challenge as normal. We only remove activities when the evidence shows they aren’t valid.
