Does GoJoe pull over steps?

Written by Thea Esguerra

Yes, GoJoe can pull in daily step data if your wearable or phone supports it and it's connected correctly.

Please note that not all wearables sync daily steps to GoJoe. Apple Health, Health Connect, Garmin, Fitbit, Huawei, and Oura support daily step syncing. Polar, Suunto, Wahoo, Whoop, and Coros currently do not sync daily steps - only their tracked workouts will come through.

However, the focus of most GoJoe challenges is on intentional activity - like walks, runs, cycles, gym sessions, pickleball and more (over 65+ supported activities). These are typically recorded by starting, stopping, and saving the activity on your wearable.

If a challenge enables it, daily steps will count. If it's only activity-based, daily steps alone won't be enough - you'll need to log or sync an actual workout.

You can always check what counts by opening the challenge and looking under 'Activity types'.
