Here’s a quick checklist to help you troubleshoot:
Is the activity showing on your GoJoe feed? If you're using a wearable, make sure the activity has synced correctly to GoJoe. If not, check out our wearable troubleshooting guide.
Was the activity done before the challenge started? Only activities completed after the official challenge start time will count.
Was the activity recorded successfully as a workout or counted towards your daily steps? If you’re logging structured workouts (like a run, ride, or swim), make sure your wearable or app tracked it properly — most devices require you to press Start, Stop, and Save/Done, unless your device auto-detects and syncs workouts automatically.
If you're relying on daily steps, these will be counted separately — just once per day — so there's no double counting. For example, if you record a walk, the steps from that walk won’t be added again to your daily step total.
Is the activity type eligible for the challenge? For example, a walk won’t count in a running-only challenge. Make sure the activity fits the accepted types for your challenge.
Are you logged into the correct email account? If you've previously participated using a specific email address, make sure you're logged in with that same email. If the activity is showing on your GoJoe feed but not appearing in the challenge leaderboard, it might be that your duplicate account was added to the challenge, rather than your active one. Don’t worry — reach out to our support team and we can help get this sorted.
Still missing? You can manually log your activity if it hasn’t come through.
If you're still stuck, reach out to us at help@gojoe.com or use the Live Chat in-app (Profile > Need Help? > Live Chat). We’re happy to help!
💡 Tip: When contacting support about missing activities, include screenshots of the missing activities from your fitness app and your account email address to help them manually review and add your activities.
