Introduction
Zest golf is the first Channel Manager in the golf industry. Many "channels" (as they call it) or tour operators (hotels, agencies, etc.) will want to make reservations telematically in your Golfmanager and will use Zest technology to do so.
¿What does a golf club need to connect to Zest?
You must communicate to Golfmanager the desire to connect its application with Zest. This can be by a simple email or through the following authorization form. The option you choose should be sent to support@golfmanager.com.
In the form you must select the two Api's and indicate in the admin Api that access is given to consult the /clientsFull function that will allow Zest to identify the id of the agents on behalf of which Zest will be able to make the reservations.
Our support team will add your club to the Zest API to complete the connection.
In order for the above to be completed, you will need to create a customer record for Zest in Golfmanager. In this tab you will associate a label that will determine the conditions that you have agreed with them. It is important to activate the option "on credit" and "is API" in your card.
You must also create an "Adminsitrator" user and activate the "is API" box.
Unlike a normal tour operator, Zest will make reservations on behalf of an agency. In order for the booking to be created under the name of that agency, Zest will need to know the client ID of that agency in your Golfmanager.
In order for Zest to know this information, you will need to create a new clientgroup (you can call it "Zest") from configuration > customers > groups
and then you must add this clientgroup "Zest" to all those customer profiles that will book through Zest as shown in the image.
In this way Zest will be able to consult through the API the ID's of the TTOO, AGENCIES and other clients.

Zest wants to make a booking at La Cala for Leadingcourses. Zest, when making the booking, will need to know the Leadingcourses ID in your application as each golf club is different. For this purpose, it will consult via Api which ID has the Zest channel nº 123 in this golf club? Golfmanager will answer "1250".
In this way the booking will be saved under the Leadingcourses client so that you can invoice the tour operator directly.
You will see this example booking in Golfmanager as if it were a standard tour operator, except that the label "zest" will also be visible. This means that all bookings with the label "zest" are bookings through this Channel Manager.
Therefore you will see in an instant the name of the player, the tour operator and that he has come through Zest.
You can also get a list of bookings by filtering by tag contains "zest".
