Stripe Integration Setup

Updated over 4 months ago

Stripe is a credit card processing company used by many of our customers to collect payments online. Currently, you can collect payments for unreturned demo clubs and rentals with Golf Genius.

Before collecting payments, you must first create a Stripe Account and connect it to your Golf Shop account event/league. In this article, we will discuss the following:

  • Stripe Accounts

  • Connecting a Stripe Account

  • Disconnecting your Stipe Account

(Note: Stripe charges a small fee per transaction. Please visit www.stripe.com to see their current pricing.)

Stripe Account:

Before establishing the integration between Golf Genius - Golf Shop and Stripe, you must have a Stripe Account. Important Note: Only one Stripe account/login can be connected to your Golf Shop account.

If no one at the club has an established Stripe account, to register for an account go to Club Details > Integration > Connect Stripe Account (as shown below), enter your email and click "Continue" to create your Stripe account.

Connecting a Stripe Account:

Once an account is created, or if you already have an account, you can connect your Stripe Acount to your Golf Shop. (Note: Only one Stripe account can be connected per Golf Shop Customer. The one account will then be used for all Golf Shop managers for that Customer.) To connect the integration, follow these directions:

  1. Go to Club Details > Integration > Connect Stripe Account.

  2. Enter your Stripe Email and click "Continue."

  3. Enter your password and click "Log in."

  4. Select the account you would like to connect and click "Connect."

  5. After clicking connect, you will be redirected back to Golf Shop, and your account will be connected (as shown below).

Disconnecting your Stripe Account:

If you wish to disconnect your Stripe account, you can do that from the integration dashboard. To turn off the integration, go to Club Details > Integration > Stripe Integration > Disconnect Stripe Account.
