In the initial setup steps of creating a report with Page Composer, you are asked to select a layout. The layout defines the paper size, number of columns, header heights, footer heights, margins, and more. In some cases, none of the available layouts is what you are looking for. In this case, you will need to design and create a new layout.
In this article, we will discuss how to create and manage page layout using the Manage Layout option within a Page Composer.

Managing Layouts:
To manage page layouts, go to Report Center > New Report > Page Composer > Manage Layouts, (as shown below).
Here you will have several options when it comes to the existing system layout and custom layouts:
Print Preview: You can print a preview of the current layout for test prints.
Copy & Edit: You can make a copy of and edit a system layout.
Edit: Any custom layouts can be edited.
Delete: Custom layouts can be deleted, however, system layout cannot be deleted.
Creating New Page Layouts:
To create a new page layout, click on "New Page Layout". Enter a name and the proper dimensions for your customized layout (as shown below).
After creating a new layout, you can then use that layout in new reports.
