Once you receive notification that a stock order has shipped, you can optionally enter the shipping details to track the order.
In this article, we will discuss entering and viewing shipping details from the Stock Order Dashboard.
Entering Shipping Details:
To do this, follow these instructions:
Go to Orders > Stock Orders > Dashboard.
Select "Enter Tracking" for a stock order in the "Orders Placed" stage.
Enter Vendor Confirmation Number (if it hasn't been entered yet).
Enter the expected ship date (if available). If the order is still in the "Orders Placed" stage 7 days after the expected ship date and no tracking number is entered, you will receive an overdue shipping alert on the dashboard.
Enter the expected delivery date (if available).
Select the shipping company.
Enter the tracking number (if available).
Click "Update" (as shown below).
Viewing Shipping Information:
If you've entered the tracking details for the stock order, the stock order tile will display "Shipped." To access the shipping company's tracking page, click "Shipped" for a stock order in the "Orders Placed" stage and select "Click for tracking" (as shown below). You will then be directed to the shipping company's website to view the tracking information.
