Enter and View Stock Order Shipping Information

Once you receive notification that a stock order has shipped, you can optionally enter the shipping details to track the order from the Stock Order Dashboard on a computer or when using the Mobile and iPad apps. Once the shipping details are entered into the stock order, Golf Genius - Golf Shop will automatically:

Entering Shipping Details:

To do this, follow these instructions:

  1. Go to Orders > Stock Orders > Dashboard.

  2. Select "Enter Tracking" for a stock order in the "Orders Placed" stage.

  3. Enter the following information:

    1. Vendor Confirmation Number: Enter Vendor Confirmation Number (if it hasn't been entered yet).

    2. Expected Ship Date: Enter the expected ship date (if available). If the order is still in the "Orders Placed" stage 7 days after the expected ship date and no tracking number is entered, you will receive an overdue shipping alert on the dashboard.

    3. Expected Delivery Date: Enter the expected delivery date (if available).

    4. Shipping Company: Select the shipping company.

    5. Tracking Number: Enter the tracking number (if available). If entered, the order can automatically be moved to the "Delivered" stage once it is delivered by the shipping company.

  4. Click "Update" (as shown below).

Viewing Shipping Information:

If you've entered the tracking details for the stock order, the stock order tile will display "Shipped." To access the shipping company's tracking page, click "Shipped" for a stock order in the "Orders Placed" stage and select "Click for tracking" (as shown below). You will then be directed to the shipping company's website to view the tracking information.
