Placing Stock Orders

Updated over 3 months ago

Placing Orders allows you to send a Stock Order to your vendor and move the orders to the "Orders Placed" stage in the Stock Order Dashboard. For details about placing orders with Repspark, Click Here.

Placing an Order:

To place an order, follow these instructions:

  1. Go to Orders > Stock Orders > Dashboard, find the order you would like to place, and click "Place Stock Order" for the stock order you'd like to place.

  2. Select from one of the following order methods:

    1. In-Person: We see our vendor reps fairly often, and they often create orders for us. Use this method if you saw your vendor rep in person and made the order with them. If provided, enter the vendor confirmation numbers and shipping details.

    2. Phone: When selected, the vendor phone number and account # will be displayed for easy access. You can then call and place the order. If provided, enter the vendor confirmation numbers and shipping details.

    3. B2BWebsite: When selected, you can click on the vendor's website link (if entered in the vendor profile) to place your order. If provided, enter the vendor confirmation numbers and shipping details.

    4. Email: When selected, a default order email message will be displayed that includes a detailed table of items. Further, a PDF of the stock order will be included in the email to the vendor. You can then customize the message (if needed) and email the vendor directly. You can customize the default message further by going to Communications > Emails > Automated Emails > Stock Orders. When placing an order via email with a vendor, you can see if that email has been opened by the vendor (as shown below). For more details, Click Here.

  3. After making the order, click "Place Stock Order."

The stock order will be moved to the "Order Placed" stage (as shown below).

Resending a Stock Order to Vendor:

If you vendor did not receive the stock order, or is asking for it again, you can resend the stock order using your personal email. From the Stock Order Dashboard, you can search for the Stock Orders, and then click the action arrow to "Print Purchase Order" (as shown below). Download the printed purchase order to your computer and send it via personal/work email.
