Campaigns are flows that allow you to send video messages to your contacts. Before launching a campaign you should have three things identified.

A. Who will record the message?

B. Who will get the message?

C. What will the contacts do when they get a video message or call to action?

To create a campaign, go to campaigns and click on "Create campaign".

To learn about each step of the campaign Builder use the links to read more

Setup

On the next screen, start by giving the campaign a name, this is internal to your workspace and won't be visible to contacts who get the video message.

Next, choose the campaign type. You can choose "One to One", "One to Many" or "Collect Videos".

Next, select if you would like recorders to see an on-screen script while recording their video task.

Next, you choose whether videos require approval, this ensures that all recorders video are approved by an admin before it goes out.

If you choose One to Many, you also get an additional prompt to "Choose an existing video" from your Goodkind video library.

For advanced settings, you can enable autoplay and add the option to put a disclaimer that captions are auto-generated. This message will show up on the video page. The message will say "Caption are auto generated" and it loads on the video page before it is played.

You can also enable "Replies" on video page.

Audience

Next, you can choose the Audience, choosing option is optional when launching a campaign, however if you are using the data from a CRM, make sure the CRM list is chosen at this stage. If you are using spreadsheets, you can add audience even after a campaign is launched.

Note: No assignment to record a video happens till the campaign has at least one contact in the audience.

Recorders

Next, choose the recorders for the campaign. In a one to many campaign, only one recorder can be selected. If you are choosing a video from the library, you need to confirm the recorder of the video at this page.

Read more about Assignment groups here.

At this step, you can add a recording script, that will show up in the app for the recorder in the Goodkind mobile app. The script won't be visible to the contact who receives the video. They see the actual transcribed captions.

You can also add instructions that show up in the app before the video is recorded. Lastly, you can also specify assignment groups which ensures that you can specify who records a 1:1 video.

Templates

This page is one of the most important page to setup while building campaign. At this step, there are three things you need to do.

  • Setup the layout of your video page with the call to action

  • Setup the email

  • Setup the SMS (if you are sending one)

Start by selecting the Call to action, if you don't see one you want to use, you can always create a new one here.

Next choose the video page template. The default template is what is shown by default. To edit your default template, click here. If you would like to create a new template, select on the "new template" button.

Once you have narrowed down the template Click Open. Then click on "Change action" to select the call to action.

Next move to the "Email" tab. Here you can setup the email subject line, the reply-to address and pick the email template from your Goodkind library. If you need to edit the template reach out to your Success Manager and we will do it right away.

Finally, go to the SMS tab to edit the SMS body. Make sure you don't forget to include the "Story URL" in the SMS body as this merge field is what will include the video link.

Summary

This is the last step of campaign. Here you can

a. Change the email subject line of your message

b. The body of SMS ( if you have SMS enabled)

c. Scheduled date of launch

d. Send yourself a preview

If you are missing a step, then it will be highlighted in pink.

Review all the details before you press Launch now.

Note: If it is One to Many campaign with a video attached, the video will go out as per your Sending settings. Else it will generate a recording task for the recorder to record a video. If you do not see the recording task immediately, it might happen because your selected audience doesn't have any contacts or we are syncing it from the CRM list.
