Our AI transcribes captions by guessing what it hears. We use probabilities to find what is the likely word said by the speaker. We have seen that this has helped with captions with over 90% accuracy.

Next we check the transcription against "Suggestions". When suggestions are added, we check words that the AI didn’t have a high confidence in and run them against the suggestions. We found that the words that were still being mis-transcribed were due to the fact that they sounded very close to the actual word.

Now admins will have the option to add overrides to the transcribed text. This allows admins to change a phrase to corrected phrase every time it is transcribed by the AI.

How to add an override?

Go Add an Override, Go to Captions in the Settings and scroll down to see your Autocorrect suggestions. Click on Switch to override to enable the override.

💡Tip: We recommend starting small with overrides and using it with those words that are frequently mis-transcribed.
