🚦 Why we made this

We added a new step to check that each Gophr account is used by the right person. This helps protect couriers who follow the rules and use their own account.

🚦 How this helps you

When people share or borrow accounts, it can hurt honest couriers like you:

  • It can cost you work. When someone uses another courier's account, the jobs and the money go to them, not to you.

  • It can affect our clients. Shared accounts often give poor service. Over time, clients may stop trusting us and go somewhere else. Fewer clients means fewer jobs for everyone.

  • It keeps things fair. You use your own account. So you should not lose work to people who do not.

The idea is simple. Work should go to the courier who is really doing it. That is you.

🚦 How the check works

  • When your account is picked for the face scan check, you will get a push notification.

  • Your working status will be turned off. You cannot take jobs until you pass the face scan check. But no worries, you can finish the job you're working on.

  • Click 'Verify now'.

  • Do the face scan check with Yoti.

  • After you pass, you can work again.

If the check does not pass

Tips

  1. Always log in with your own account.

  2. Always use your own phone.

  3. Make sure you are in a bright area with a clear, steady camera.

⚠️ Blurry or dark photos are the most common reason a check fails. Take your time. Take the photo again if it does not look sharp.
