A step-by-step guide for creators: accepting a campaign, uploading your videos for review, posting on TikTok, and getting paid.
ℹ️ Screens and labels may vary slightly depending on the campaign. Some campaigns skip the review step or the profile step. Your campaign page always shows the steps that apply to you.

Overview
Every campaign follows the same path, shown as a progress bar at the top of your campaign page:
Invitation → Profile → Submit File → Post → Payout
Invitation: review and sign the campaign contract.
Profile: add your shipping address and connect your TikTok account.
Submit File: upload your video files so the brand can review them before you post.
Post: publish the approved videos on TikTok and paste the post links into Thryve.
Payout: once your posts are verified, your payment is processed.
You can find all of your campaigns under Campaigns in the top bar, split into Active and Completed tabs.
1. Accept the Campaign
1. Open your invitation
You'll receive an email when a brand invites you. Click the link, or go to Campaigns and click View invitation on the campaign card.
2. Review the contract
Read the campaign brief and contract. It lists the number of videos required, the deadlines, the fee or commission, and posting rules.
3. Sign
Type your legal name, add your signature, tick the agreement box, and click Accept and sign.
⚠️ Invitations expire. The page shows "You have until [date], [time] to sign this contract." After that, the card changes to Invitation expired.
2. Complete Your Profile
Most campaigns need a shipping address (so the brand can send you the product) and a connected TikTok account.
1. Click Finish profile
After signing, click Finish profile on the campaign page (or Add profile on the campaign card).
2. Add your details
Under Your profile, add a shipping address and connect your TikTok account.
Profile page with shipping address and connected TikTok account.
3. Confirm
Click Confirm details. The button only becomes active once both an address and a TikTok account are added. You'll see "You're in!" along with your campaign timeline.
4. Wait for the brand to countersign
The brand confirms your contract before you can upload. Until then you'll see "[Brand] is confirming your contract. You can submit videos once they have." Your campaign card shows Awaiting confirmation, then In progress once you're ready to go.
3. Upload Your Videos Files for Review
1. Open your submissions page
On the campaign page, find the Submit Videos card. Click Open to read the content brief, then View submissions to go to Your submissions.
Campaign page with progress steps, earnings, content brief and deadlines.
2. Check your deadlines
The Deadlines card at the top shows:
Submit video file by: the date your videos must be uploaded for review
Post by: the date your approved videos must be live on TikTok
3. Upload your files
Drag and drop your videos into Upload your videos, or click Browse. You can also click Upload next to an empty "Video 1", "Video 2" slot.
Accepted formats: MP4, MOV, or WebM
Maximum size: 500MB per video
Upload the final video file (not a TikTok link) at this stage. Captions and hashtags aren't entered in Thryve; follow the content brief for these when you post.
If your connection drops during an upload, you'll see "Reselect the same file to continue." Choose the same file and click Resume. You can delete a draft with the X button before submitting.
Your submissions page with deadlines, upload area, one uploaded video and empty video slots.
4. Submit
When your videos are uploaded, click Submit [n] videos. They move to Done & Waiting with an In review badge.
4. Review Results and Revisions
The brand reviews each video against the brief. Results show on your submissions page, and you'll get an email if a video needs changes.
Status | What it means | What to do |
In review | Your video file is being reviewed | Nothing, just wait |
Approved | Your video file is good to go | Add content to showcase, and post it on TikTok (step 5) |
Needs revision | The brand wants changes on your content | Read the feedback and upload a revised video |
Failed | The video file wasn't approved and won't count toward the campaign | Contact support if you have questions |
Replaced | An earlier version that was replaced by your revision | – |
Sending a revision
1. Read the feedback
Under the video you'll see either Review feedback (a list of guidelines the video missed) or Note from [Brand]. Click View details to expand it.
2. Upload the revised video
Click Upload revised video, choose your new file, then click Submit revised video. The due date is shown as "Send your revised video by [date]".
A video marked Needs revision with a note from the brand and the Upload revised video button.
⚠️ You get one revision round per video, usually due within 3 business days. If the revised video still isn't approved, it's marked Failed and won't count.
5. Post on TikTok and Submit Your Link
1. TikTok Shop campaigns only: before your first post, you'll see a reminder to add the product to your TikTok showcase. Click Add product on TikTok and add it. You only do this once. When Thryve confirms it, you'll see "Product added! You're set." Your posts need the product in your showcase to earn commission.
2. Post the approved video
For Affiliate campaigns, add the product link to the video on TikTok, and post the exact video that was approved on the TikTok account you connected. Before posting, check your contract. Campaigns usually require:
The product that was added to showcase linked to the video
The #ad disclosure and TikTok's branded content toggle
Keeping the post live for the period in your contract (removing it early may lead to a fee)
Sharing a Spark Ads authorization code if the brand asks for one
3. Copy the post link
In TikTok, tap Share → Copy link. Both full links (https://www.tiktok.com/@you/video/…) and short share links (https://vm.tiktok.com/…) work.
4. Paste it into Thryve
On your submissions page, paste the link into Paste post URL here next to the approved video and click Upload. You'll see "Post link submitted". If you need to change it, click Edit.
Submissions page with posted videos, their TikTok links and Edit buttons.
After you submit a link
Status | What it means | What to do |
Checking | We're checking that the post matches your approved video | Nothing, this usually takes a moment |
Brand review | The brand is confirming your post manually | Nothing, you don't need to do anything |
Posted | Your post is verified | Done! Keep the post live |
Wrong link | The post doesn't match the video that was approved | Check the link and paste the correct one |
ℹ️ Each TikTok video can only be used once. A link that was already submitted for a different campaign will be rejected.
6. Deadlines and Getting Paid
Deadlines
You have until the end of that deadline date to upload or post. After the Post by date:
The flat fee no longer applies.
On TikTok Shop campaigns, you can still post for commission only until the campaign closes. Late posts show a Late badge.
Once a campaign ends, you'll see "Campaign ended" and can no longer upload or add links. You can still view your submissions and results.
How you earn
Flat fee: covers all required videos posted by the deadline. Extra videos earn commission only.
Commission: earned on every qualifying campaign post (shown as "Commission X%" on your campaign card).
Getting paid
When all your required posts are verified, the campaign shows Campaign completed with your expected payout timing. You'll get a payout email when your payment is sent. Accept it from the email, and track it any time in the Payments tab.
Payments tab with total earnings, pending payouts and the Accept button.
