Stripe's rate when accepting payments in the field using Stripe's hardware is 2.7% + 5 cents per transaction.
To get started using Stripe reader with the GorillaDesk app you'll first need to add your location in the Stripe dashboard.
Here are the directions to add your location in Stripe
First, log in to your Stripe account on the desktop.
Next, navigate to your Locations: Here is a quick link to get there https://dashboard.stripe.com/terminal/locations
If you do not have a location yet, click the + NEW button in the upper right corner.
Please be sure to have your Bluetooth enabled on your mobile device.
Turn on your Stripe reader
To connect the reader to your Gorilladesk App: open the Gorilladesk app and click the Options on the upper left corner (3 lines).
Click Settings
Click Connect to reader
Choose the location
You will see the Stripe reader on the list, click Connect
Note: If it is the first time you are connecting to a reader, the connection might take longer to load. It will ask you for a pairing code which you can find behind your Stripe terminal.
Once the connection is established, your app will stay connected to the reader for 10 hours as long as the Bluetooth is enabled.
