You can also use a 2D scanner instead of the phone camera when using the feature device tracking.
Here are the steps when using a 2D scanner:
Power on the 2d barcode scanner
Scan the barcode to set up the device, follow the instructions
Restart barcode scanner
On your mobile device, turn on Bluetooth, find the device to pair
Scan the barcode code to match the PIN (For Android: a pin will be prompted, enter the pin as instructed on your device)
Once the barcode scanner is paired, used as a physical input device instead of the phone camera
Open the Gorilladesk app > open a job and add the device
Click the
barcodefieldScan a barcode, the barcode serial will be filled automatically.
