Contact Pipeline Status

Updated over 5 months ago

Module:

This feature is included in goTom Publisher.

Role:

To access it, the user needs a corresponding role.

Where to find:

The pipeline statuses for contacts are managed in the admin center under "CRM" - "Pipeline Status".

Functionality:

Pipeline statuses are statuses that are created individually and can be assigned to a contact. A pipeline status can help to process leads and/or contacts and divide them into individual stages.

Details

Name

The name of a status can be freely selected. We provide the following standards as an example for a lead pipeline:

  • New Lead

  • Qualified Lead

  • Contacted

  • Negotiations

  • Won (as new customer)

  • Lost

Note: These standards can be customised as required. However, once they have been overwritten or deleted, they can no longer be restored.

Winning probability

Optionally, a winning probability can be entered as a percentage value for each status. This value can then be used in filtering and in data exports in order to process or analyse the leads/contacts accordingly. The field can also be left blank.

Active / Inactive

A pipeline status can be active or inactive. However, inactive statuses can no longer be assigned to new leads or contacts. If a status is no longer required and is no longer assigned to a lead or contact, it can also be deleted completely.

Order

The order in the pipeline status table defines the order of the statuses in the process used. Example:

  • If the status "New Lead" is to be considered the first stage in a lead process, then it must be in the first position in the table (and ideally also has a lower winning probability than a lead that has already been qualified or with whom you are in negotiations).

This order can be changed using the actions menu at the top of the table.
