Once submitted the content of your application cannot be edited. It is however possible to replace one or more attachments or add additional documentation if the grant administration directly gives you permission or requests you to do so directly.

Replace a document

If you wish to replace a document on your application, please contact the grant directly via the "Messages" tab at the top of the specific application and explain which document(s) you specifically need to replace. Read more about how to contact the grant here.

If or when you are granted permission to replace one or several documents, you will automatically receive an email to this effect. Log on to your applicant profile and click on "Applications" in the left side menu, followed by the specific application. Go to the location of the original attachment in the application.

Click the upload icon (right side) to replace the attachment with the new one.

Once the new attachment has been uploaded it is once again locked for editing. This also means that you have to ask for permission once again if the file needs replacement. ❗ It is only possible to replace a document while your application is still being processed by the grant administration.

Add additional documentation

The grant administration can request that you add additional documentation to your submitted application before the application has been fully processed.

This may be either based on the grant's need to clarify one or more points in your application or because you yourself have informed the grant about a new type of documentation relevant to your application. Read more about contacting the grant administration here.

Regardless of the background, you will receive an email from Grant Compass, on behalf of the grant, if and when you are allowed to attach new documentation to your application.

Follow the link in the email or go to your application, followed by the item "Other documents" on the application. An auto-generated and empty document will be ready for replacement. Click on the upload icon and upload your additional documentation.

Good to know ✅ When a grant requests additional documentation from you, Grant Compass automatically creates an empty document on your application, which you must replace with the correct documentation yourself.

When you've attached the new documentation, the grant administration will be notified directly via Grant Compass' notification system. You are also welcome to inform them of the addition yourself via the Messages tab on your application.

Track the status of your application

You can track the status of your application(s) via the label at the top of the application. Look for either “Awarded”, “Submitted” or “Rejected”.
