Absolutely. Candidates must be given a way to opt out of receiving text communication from you. But don't fret! Grayscale manages the entire opt-out process on your behalf, so you don't even have to think about it.
Candidates can request to opt-out of communication by using any of the following keywords:
STOP
QUIT
CANCEL
STOPALL
UNSUBSCRIBE
END
Once a candidate opts-out, they'll receive one final message confirming they have been unsubscribed as follows:
You have successfully been unsubscribed. You will not receive any more messages from this number. Reply START to resubscribe.
In Grayscale, you won't have the ability to communicate with that candidate unless they reply START to opt back in. If your candidate doesn't opt back in within 7 days, the conversation will auto-archive 🎉 and you won't have to worry about messaging anyone by accident 🙌
