To ensure that your Text-for-Jobs campaign is compliant, here are the Industry Standards for opt-ins for US Short Codes:

Required Fields

Examples

Service description and name

"Text to hear more about our open job opportunities in your area!"

Disclose any fees that may apply

"Message and data rates may apply"

NOTE: In the US this verbiage is required verbatim, carriers will not approve mockups that include the word "standard" as this implies the existence of premium rate messaging, which is no longer allowed in the US.

Disclose frequency of messages

"Message frequency varies"

Provide customer care contact information

"Reply HELP for help"

Include clear opt-out instructions

"Reply STOP to opt out"

Provide a link to Mobile Terms of Service

Provide a link to your Privacy Policy/Statement
