When your Purchaser buys oil from you, many times your pumper isn't available to oversee the transfer of the crude.

And, while we trust our Purchasers, it's still good practice to verify them, too. πŸ˜‰

Fortunately, given a few key ingredients (like Observed API, Observed Temperature, BS&W and the like), the Greasebook can auto calculate Corrected Barrels for you and your operations! πŸ™†β€β™€οΈ

To enable the Corrected Barrels feature, simply go to Settings > Company > Settings > and Click Yes next to Enable Corrected Bbls Calculation to enable this feature for the Company. Then press Save.

Now, this feature can be enabled for each transport company that you will need it for, so, also in Settings > Transport Companies > like this:

⭐️Pro Tip: unfortunately, not all your Purchasers will give you the variables required on your run ticket to calculate your Corrected Barrels. πŸ˜• So, please review your run tickets from each Purchaser before turning on the feature for a given Transport Company. If not, you'll have an upset pumper on the line because the app won't let your pumper save a ticket without the variables! β˜ŽοΈπŸ‘¨πŸ»

Now, with the Corrected Barrels feature enabled for a given Transport Company, all required variables to calculate the volumetric correction will be displayed to your pumper when logging the ticket in the field:

Next up: do you have gotchas / variables in your operations which you wish the Greasebook would simply auto-calculate for you?

For example, maybe you'd like to add a bit of simple math behind a Sales Meter and Buy Meter to auto-calculate the true production of a lease?

This is precisely why you should be aware of our Logic Variables feature and how they can be applied to your operations...
