1. Accessing the Sensor Thresholds Section

  • Open the GreenCast Connect app.

  • Go to Settings (tap the gear icon ⚙️).

  • Select the “Sensor Thresholds” option from the settings menu.

2. Default Threshold

  • The Default Threshold is the baseline level for a particular metric, such as soil moisture or temperature.

    • This threshold will trigger notifications when the condition reaches or surpasses the set value.

  • You can view the default threshold for each metric, but this setting is typically predefined by the app.

3. Adding a New Threshold

  • To add a new threshold, tap the plus button (+) at the top of the Sensor Thresholds screen in Settings.

  • This will allow you to create and name a new threshold that you can customize.

4. Customizing Thresholds

  • You can establish a custom threshold for each metric.

    • Note: the default threshold is set by the app and is not editable.

    • Note: Thresholds are not sensor specific.

Once a threshold is created, use the button to click and drag to desired values.

  • Using the toggle, select the Assigned Areas where you want each threshold to apply.

  • Once complete, select the save icon at the top right-hand corner to save your custom thresholds.

5. Viewing Sensor Thresholds

  • In the Sensor Thresholds section under Settings, you’ll see the current thresholds.

  • The default threshold is displayed at the top.

  • A list of your Customized Thresholds will be displayed below Default Threshold.

6. Deleting Thresholds

If you no longer need a custom threshold, you can delete it as follows:

  1. Go to Settings > Sensor Thresholds.

  2. Select the threshold you want to delete.

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the threshold settings page.

  4. Tap "Delete Threshold", then confirm the action.
Note: Deleting a threshold cannot be undone.
