A blue signal indicates that the soil sensor is going through a firmware update.
What is a firmware update?
Firmware is the software that is embedded into your soil sensor. Firmware updates provide free and instant improvements to the functionality of sensors.
Here are some tips while your soil sensor is going through an update:
The magnet should be kept off during this time.
The sensor should not be installed in the ground while the signal is blue.
Once the sensor downloads the new firmware, the sensor should restart by itself.
The firmware update normally takes between 5 and 10 minutes.
