Introduction

Going through the platform, you might realize that you have 0 emissions in one or several regulatory entries. This article aims to explain to you which modules are relevant to check if that happens. It will focus on BEGES v5 regulatory entries.

If you are not doing a BEGES v5, you can check this article regarding GHGProtocol.

Guidance for each entry

If this regulatory entry has 0 emissions, we advise you to check the following modules:

  • Energy

  • Land Use Change

2.1 Indirect emissions from electricity consumption

Emissions of this sub-category are related to the generation of electricity (fossil, nuclear, or renewable power) outside the legal entity's organizational boundary.

If this regulatory entry has 0 emissions, we advise you to check the following modules:

  • Building

  • Employee Survey

  • Energy

  • Event

  • Fuel Consumption

2.2 Indirect emissions from energy consumption (other than electricity)

Emissions of this sub-category are related to the consumption of energy (other than electricity) that is produced outside the legal entity's organizational boundary (e.g. boilers).

If this regulatory entry has 0 emissions, we advise you to check the following modules:

  • Building

  • Employee

  • Fuel Consumption

3.1 Upstream transport

Emissions related to this sub-category are caused by the transport of goods by truck, train, boat, plane, moped, etc., the cost of which is borne by the Legal Entity.

If this regulatory entry has 0 emissions, we advise you to check the following modules:

  • Employee

  • Event

  • Expense Note

  • Freight

  • Fuel Consumption

3.2 Downstream transport and distribution

Emissions related to this sub-category are caused by the transport of goods by truck, train, boat, plane, moped, etc., the cost of which is not borne by the Legal Entity.

If this regulatory entry has 0 emissions, we advise you to check the Freight module.
