From there, navigate to the bottom of the screen and click the button "Get new Quotes." This will allow you to start the process of receiving new quotes for free for your lawn care needs.
Things to Keep in Mind
Rate Changes: Be aware that discontinuing services with your current lawn company to get new quotes may affect your rates. The new quotes could potentially be higher than what you were previously paying. Unfortunately, rates are set by the independent lawn care providers using GreenPal and, as such, are out of GreenPal's direct control.
Service Frequency: The lawn care companies who pay to market their lawn service on the GreenPal network do not offer one-time cuts. They look for ongoing commitments, either weekly or bi-weekly, especially if your lawn is over 8 inches tall, which might also incur a surcharge for the first cut to bring it under control.
Managing Your Quote Requests
Annual Quote Limits: Your free GreenPal account allows you to request up to 2 free rounds of quotes per year. If you have already used your two free requests, you must wait until next year for additional free quotes or continue with the last service provider you hired.
Upgraded Quote Opportunities: After completing 6 transactions with your lawn company within a year, your GreenPal account is considered more trustworthy in the community and is upgraded to allow 3 free quote requests per year.
