The banner (or cover image) is the first thing club members see when they land on the shop. It can now link to another page: a featured kit, the ticket office, a sponsor's website… A great showcase that works for the club too.
Use cases
Current campaign — send club members straight to a seasonal kit (a Winter kit, for example) or a product on promotion
Ticket office — send club members to tickets for the next match
Sponsor — give visibility to one of the club's partners
Event — promote a training camp, a tournament or a club evening
Tip: To link to a kit or a product in the shop, open its page on the shop and copy the address (the URL) shown in your browser.
Add a banner
For best results, your image should be 1440 × 520 px and in JPG or PNG format.
Open the club shop dashboard.
In the left-hand menu, click Settings to show its sub-menus.
Click Shop appearance.
Click the upload area and select your image.
Click Save.
Tip: Remember the path: Dashboard › Settings › Shop appearance.
Note: The banner only appears on the shop's homepage. It does not affect product pages.
Make the banner clickable
In Settings › Shop appearance, check that a banner has been saved.
In the Add a link field, below the upload area, paste the address of the destination page.
Click Save.
On the shop, the link opens in a new tab: club members keep the shop open.
Edit or remove the banner
Change the image — click the upload area and choose a new file
Change the link — edit the Add a link field, then save
Remove the image — click Remove cover
Important: Removing the cover does not remove the link. It will automatically apply to the next image you upload.
FAQs
I can't find "Shop appearance" in the menu
Shop appearance sits in the Settings menu, at the bottom of the dashboard's left-hand menu. Click Settings to show its sub-menus: Shop appearance, Delivery and Team.
Why can't I see the "Add a link" field?
The field only appears once a banner has been saved. Upload your image first, save, and the field will appear below the upload area.
Why is my link rejected?
The link must be a full web address starting with http:// or https://. Email links (mailto:) and free text are rejected. No need to worry: what you typed stays in the field, so just correct it and save.
Does the link open instead of the shop?
No, it opens in a new tab. Club members can get back to their shopping at any time.
