Studios that run courses or terms can now set memberships with a specific start and end date. This makes it easier to manage recurring payments for the exact duration of a term, working more like a payment plan.
Who is this for?
This feature is designed for studios who:
Run programs or terms with set start and end dates.
Want to allow students to pay weekly or monthly for the duration of the term.
Need auto-payments to stop automatically once the term ends.
Step 1: Create a New Membership
Go to Manage Studio > Memberships.
Click Add New Membership (or Duplicate an existing one to save time).
Give the membership a clear name (e.g., Term 1 2026 Membership).
Step 2: Set Start and End Dates
Under Membership Settings, choose the Start Date (the first day of the term).
Add an End Date (the last day of the term).
Example:
Start Date: January 1, 2026
End Date: March 15, 2026
This ensures payments only run for the duration of the term.
Step 3: Configure Payment Frequency
Select whether payments are weekly, fortnightly, or monthly.
When a student books a class before the term begins, their first payment will be taken immediately to secure their spot.
Recurring payments will then begin from the second payment cycle.
Example: Weekly Term Membership
Student books on December 10th for Term 1 (starting January 1st).
First payment is taken immediately on December 10th.
No payment is due on January 1st (term start date).
Next payment will be taken on January 7th, and weekly thereafter until the end date.
Step 4: Repeat for Each Term
If you run multiple terms, youβll need to create a new membership for each one so that payment schedules line up correctly.
Tip: Use the Duplicate button to quickly copy a membership and adjust the:
Name (e.g., Term 2 2026 Membership)
Start Date
End Date
Benefits of Term Memberships
