How do I set up Multi Course Discounts?

How Discounts Are Applied

Multi-course discounts are set up through the Terms section and rely on the tags you assign when creating course classes. **Note: Multi Course Discounts do not apply to drop in classed** To ensure only the correct courses are included, review your tags and confirm that classes you don’t want discounted do not share the same tag.

For studios with parent/child accounts, tag-specific rules are particularly useful. For example, if you use general tags like “Fitness” and “Dance,” discounts will apply across all associated classes. This means a parent enrolling in a class and then enrolling their child under the same account would receive the discount for both. To prevent this, you can assign a separate “Kids” tag to children’s classes and create discount rules for those tags only. This setup ensures that a parent booking their own class does not trigger a discount when booking a child’s class.

Steps to Set Up a Term and Multi-Course Discounts

  1. Navigate to Terms by going to Manage Studio > Terms.

  2. Click Create New Term to set up a new term.

  3. Enter the term details. Provide a name like “Term # YEAR” and specify the start and end dates for the term.

  4. Add multi-course discount rules. Assign tags like “Adults” to specify which classes are eligible for the discount. Then, define the discount levels by entering the discount amount or percentage off for each additional course a student enrolls in.

  5. Include additional rules as needed to refine which classes are eligible for multiple discounts. This helps you tailor the discount structure to meet your studio’s needs.

By following these steps, you can effectively set up multi-course discounts to incentivize students to book additional classes during the term.
