How do I return my items?

Everything you need to know about returning an item to Gymshark, including free returns and how to get started.

📦 You have 30 days from delivery to start your return.

We offer free returns to the following countries:

United Kingdom (mainland), United States, Canada, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Greece, Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Poland, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland.

To begin the return process, select your location using the country dropdown below:

Australia & New Zealand

Step 1: Head to the Returns Portal

  • Start your return or exchange by visiting our online returns portal within 30 days of receiving your order.


Step 2: Enter Your Details

  • Enter your order number (for example, #AU123456) along with your shipping postal code or email address.

  • Make sure to enter everything exactly as it appears on your order confirmation, including the # in your order number.


Step 3: Choose Your Items

  • Select which item(s) you’re returning and let us know the reason for your return.


Step 4: Select a Return Method

  • Choose how you’d like to return your order — you’ll also see your nearest drop-off point.

Depending on the return method, you may need to:

  • Download a returns label, or

  • Use a QR code for a printerless return.

Please note: For refunds, you'll need to select your credit option before you can click 'Submit return'.


Step 5: Send It Back

  • Attach the label to your parcel or show the QR code when dropping it off.

  • Take your parcel to your chosen drop-off location.


Step 6: We’ll Handle the Rest

Once your parcel is on its way:

  • It can take up to 12 days for Australian orders and up to 28 days for New Zealand orders to reach our warehouse.

  • When your return arrives, our team will check and scan it within 7 days.

  • After your refund is processed, please allow up to further 7 working days for it to clear with your bank.


Exchanges

If you choose an exchange, please note:

Stock isn’t reserved right away, so the item(s) you’ve requested may no longer be available by the time we receive your return.

  • If that happens, we’ll issue a refund for the unavailable item(s) back to your original payment method, and you’ll receive an email confirmation once it’s processed.

  • The delivery address for exchanges can’t be changed — your exchange will be sent to the same address as your original order.

Austria

Step 1: Head to the Returns Portal

  • Start your return or exchange by visiting our returns portal within 30 days of receiving your order.


Step 2: Enter Your Details

  • Enter your order number (for example, #DE123456) and your shipping postal code or email address.

  • Make sure to enter everything exactly as shown on your order confirmation, including the # in your order number.


Step 3: Choose Your Items

  • Select the item(s) you’d like to return or exchange, and tell us the reason for your return.


Step 4: Select a Return Method

  • Choose how you’ll be returning your order — you’ll also see your nearest drop-off point.

Depending on your chosen return method, you may need to:

  • Download and print a returns label, or

  • Present a QR code at drop-off (printerless options may be available).

Please note: For refunds, you'll need to select your credit option before you can click 'Submit return'.


Step 5: Send It Back

  • Attach the label to your parcel or show the QR code when dropping it off.

  • Take your parcel to your chosen drop-off location.

  • Once you’ve dropped off your return, your parcel will first go to the local courier hub before being sent to our warehouse.

  • It can take up to 17 days for your return to be received and processed by our Returns Team.

  • If it’s been more than 21 days since you dropped off your return and you haven’t had an update, please contact our Customer Support Team for help.


Step 6: Refunds and Exchanges

Once your refund is processed, please allow up to 7 working days for it to appear in your bank account.

If you’ve chosen an exchange, please note:

  • Stock isn’t immediately reserved, so the item(s) you’ve requested might no longer be available when your return reaches us.

  • If this happens, you’ll receive a refund for the unavailable item(s) back to your original payment method, along with an email confirmation.

  • The delivery address for exchanges can’t be changed — your exchange will always be sent to the same address as your original order.

Canada

Step 1: Head to the Returns Portal

  • Go to our online returns portal to begin your return or exchange within 30 days of receiving your order.


Step 2: Choose Your Items

  • Select which item(s) you’d like to return or exchange, and tell us why.

  • Please note: If an item is marked as ‘Final Sale’, it’s non-returnable.


Step 3: Select a Return Method

  • Choose how you’d like to return your order. You’ll also see your nearest drop-off point.

Depending on the method you select, you may need to:

  • Download and print a returns label, or

  • Use a QR code for a printerless return.

Please note: For refunds, you'll need to select your credit option before you can click 'Submit return'.


Step 4: Send It Back

  • Simply attach the label to your parcel or show the QR code when dropping it off.

  • It can take up to 14 days for your package to reach our warehouse. Once received, our team will inspect and scan your return within 7 days.


Step 5: Refunds and Exchanges

If you’ve requested an exchange, please note:

  • Stock isn’t immediately reserved, so your requested item(s) may no longer be available once your return arrives.

  • If this happens, we’ll issue a refund for those item(s) back to your original payment method, and send you an email confirmation once complete.

  • The delivery address for exchanges can’t be changed — your exchange will always be sent to the same address as your original order.

Canary Islands

Step 1: Pack Your Items

  • Securely pack your items - ideally using the original packaging your order arrived in within 30 days of receiving your order.

  • Allow up to 28 days for your return to reach us.

  • Once your parcel arrives at our warehouse, our team will check and process it within 7 days.

  • We’ll send you an email notification once your return has been processed.

  • Make sure these details match exactly as shown on your order confirmation.


Step 3: Choose Your Items

  • Select the item(s) you’re sending back and let us know the reason for your return.


Step 4: Choose a Return Method

  • Pick your preferred return method and follow the on-screen steps in the portal.

  • Download and print a return label to attach to your package

  • The return postage is paid by us in advance, and this is written in the corner of the label.

Please note: You can only return up to 2kg in one package. If your return is heavier than this, they will need to register and send the return in separate shipments.


Step 5: Send It Back

Please follow the steps below when sending your package back to us:

⚠️ Important: Norway returns use a special postal process — please read all steps carefully before dropping off your parcel. The post office will not scan your barcode, and you will not receive a standard receipt.

  1. Do not ask the post office to scan the barcode — it is only scanned by staff at the parcel centre in Kalmar before being forwarded to our warehouse in Belgium.

  2. Place the package with the other mail to be sent.

  3. As you won't receive a receipt, take a photo of your parcel at the post office as proof of postage and keep it until your refund is confirmed.

  4. Leave the package in the unmanned delivery hatch at the nearest Posten Postkontor (or a free-standing Posten Postboks).

  5. Allow up to 28 days for your return to reach us. Once it arrives, our team will check and process it within 7 days.


Step 6: Refunds

  • We’ll send you an email confirmation once your return has been processed.
    Please allow up to 7 working days for your refund to be issued back to your original payment method.

Rest of Europe

Step 1: Head to the Returns Portal

Step 5: Send It Back

  • Simply attach the label to your parcel or show the QR code when dropping it off.

  • Take your parcel to your chosen drop-off location.

  • It can take up to 12 days for your package to reach our warehouse. Once it arrives, our team will check and scan your return within 7 days.


Step 6: Refunds and Exchanges

  • Once your refund has been processed, please allow up to 7 working days for it to clear with your bank.

If you’ve requested an exchange, please note:

  • Stock isn’t immediately reserved, so your requested item(s) may no longer be available when your return arrives.

  • If that happens, we’ll issue a refund for the unavailable item(s) back to your original payment method, and send you an email confirmation once complete.

  • The delivery address for exchanges can’t be changed — your exchange will always be sent to the same address as your original order.

Switzerland

Step 1: Head to the Returns Portal

  • Go to our returns portal to start your return within 30 days of receiving your order.


Step 2: Enter Your Details

  • Enter your order number (for example, #CH123456) and your postcode or email address.

  • Make sure these details match exactly as shown on your order confirmation.


Step 3: Choose Your Items

  • Select the item(s) you’re sending back and let us know the reason for your return.


Step 4: Select a Return Method

  • Pick your preferred return method and follow the on-screen steps in the portal.

Depending on the method you select, you may need to:

  • Download and attach a return label, or

  • Show a QR code when you drop your parcel off.


Step 5: Send It Back

  • Drop your parcel off at your chosen location.

  • Please allow up to 28 days for your return to reach us. Once it arrives at our warehouse, our team will check and process it within 7 days.


Step 6: Refunds

  • We’ll send you an email confirmation once your return has been processed.
    Please allow up to 7 working days for your refund to be issued back to your original payment method.

UK

Mainland UK Returns

To make an online return from mainland UK, head to our returns portal and follow the steps below:

  1. Start your return within 30 days of receiving your order.

  2. Enter your order number and your postcode or email.

  3. Select the item(s) you’re returning or exchanging, and let us know why.

  4. Choose your return method — you’ll also see your nearest drop-off point, and the option to return directly to one of our retail stores if you’re in the UK.

  5. Depending on your method, you may need to:

    • Download and print a returns label, or

    • Use a QR code for a printerless return.

  6. For refunds, you'll need to select your credit option before you can click 'Submit return'

  7. If you’re using a returns label, remove the original delivery label and attach the new one. For printerless options, simply present your QR code at the drop-off point.


UK Return Timeframe

  • Allow up to 8 days for your parcel to reach us.

  • Once received, our warehouse team will check and process your return within 7 days.

  • You’ll receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed.

  • Please allow up to 7 working days for the refund to clear with your bank.


Exchanges

If you’ve requested an exchange, please note:

  • Stock isn’t immediately reserved, so your requested item(s) may no longer be available when your return arrives.

  • If this happens, you’ll automatically be refunded for the item(s) back to your original payment method.

  • The delivery address for exchanges cannot be changed — your exchange will always be sent to the same address as your original order.


Make a Return or Exchange In Store

You can return or exchange items in our retail stores.

If You Ordered Online

  • Make sure you have your order number before visiting the store.

  • You can either:

    • Return via the Returns Portal, or

    • Bring the items directly to one of our stores.

If you’ve already started your return in the portal, we recommend continuing that process for faster handling.

If you’d like to exchange in store and the item is available, you’ll be issued an e-gift card via email while in store. You can use this online or in any UK Gymshark store.

If the item you want isn’t in stock, we can:

  • Process a refund to your original payment method, or

  • Issue an e-gift card.

For purchases made using both card and gift card, refunds are applied to the gift card first.


If You Purchased In Store

  • You’ll need a valid receipt to process any return or exchange.

  • If your desired item isn’t in stock, we can either:

    • Refund to your original payment method, or

    • Issue an e-gift card.

If the original payment method isn’t available, the refund will be applied to a gift card instead.

No receipt? You may still be eligible for an exchange only, at the manager’s discretion.

US

Step 1: Head to the Returns Portal

  • Go to our online returns portal within 30 days of receiving your order to start your return or exchange.


Step 2: Enter Your Details

  • Enter your order number (for example, #US123456) and your shipping postal code or email address.

  • Please ensure the details match exactly as shown on your order confirmation, including the # in your order number.


Step 3: Choose Your Items

  • Select which item(s) you’re returning or exchanging, and tell us why.

  • Please note: If an item is marked as ‘Final Sale’, it is non-returnable.


Step 4: Select a Return Method

  • Choose how you’d like to return your order — you’ll also see your nearest drop-off point.

Depending on your chosen method, you may need to:

  • Download and print a returns label, or

  • Present a QR code when returning your items.

Step 5: Using a Happy Returns Bar

If you’re returning via a Happy Returns Bar, it’s even easier:

  • Present your QR code to the agent at the bar with the items you wish to return - there’s no need to box or print anything.

  • Don’t have your QR code? No problem! You can show your Happy Returns Express Code, which you’ll receive when registering your return.

  • Refunds for returns made at a Happy Returns Bar are processed immediately once your items are dropped off.


Step 6: If Not Using a Happy Returns Bar

If you’re not using a Happy Returns Bar:

  • It can take up to 14 days for your package to reach us.

  • Once your return arrives at our warehouse, our team will check and scan it within 7 days.

After your return is processed, please allow up to 7 working days for the refund to clear with your bank.


Step 7: Exchanges

If you’ve chosen an exchange, please note:

  • Stock isn’t immediately reserved, so your requested item(s) may no longer be available when your return is processed or dropped off.

  • If this happens, we’ll issue a refund for the unavailable item(s) back to your original payment method, and send an email confirmation once complete.
