Draw hot, warm, and cold zones
Hot, warm, and cold zones mark the control rings around an incident on the Common Operating Picture (COP+). One drag places all three; you can resize, redraw, or remove them as often as the event requires.
Before you start
You need the Manage Hot, Warm, Cold Zones permission. See Understand roles and permissions.
Draw the zones
Open Add Feature To Map in the left-hand menu.
Select Hot, Warm, Cold Zones. A pop-up window opens.
Click Draw Zones. The cursor changes to cross-hairs.
Drag a circle on the map. The three zones appear.
Resize, redraw, or remove the zones
Select Hot, Warm, Cold Zones from the drop-down list again. The editing window opens.
Adjust each zone's size by percentage or in metres. Type a value or use the up and down arrows beside it.
Click Resize Zones to apply the new values.
Click Save to keep your changes.
From the same window:
Redraw Zones lets you drag the zones fresh on the map.
Remove Zones clears them from the map.
