What is NFC ?
NFC tags are small, inexpensive chips that can be programmed to trigger specific actions when scanned by a smartphone.
How NFC enhances your habit tracking?
For habit tracking, these tags create physical touchpoints in your environment that can trigger habit check-ins with minimal friction.
By placing NFC tags in strategic locations related to your habits—like a workout tag on your gym bag or a reading tag on your bookshelf—you transform your physical space into a habit-supporting ecosystem.

Go to Settings > Integrations > NFC
Tap on Scan new NFC tag button

Recommendation
Keep the app running for better work
Keep your Habitify app running in the background for the best experience. If your app is completely closed, scanning the NFC tag and tapping on the push notification will only open the Journal view rather than completing your intended action seamlessly.
Strategic placement ideas
To maximize the effectiveness of your NFC setup, consider placing tags where they naturally align with your habits, for example:
Exercise tag on your water bottle or gym equipment
Meditation tag on your cushion or yoga mat
Reading tag inside your favorite book or on your reading lamp
Medication tag on your medicine cabinet
Hydration tag on your water bottle or refrigerator
Morning routine tag on your bathroom mirror
