Integrate Habitify with your Google Calendar, and manage habits along with your personal schedule

Connect with your Google Calendar

  • In the Habitify app, go to Settings

  • Find Integration, tap on Google Calendar

  • Tap on Connect button

  • Sign into your Google Calendar account and grant requested permission

  • Configure on item deleted the app should mark your habit as skipped or failed

Then, your habits will be automatically synced to your Google Calendar.

How your habits are synced as events

  • For a habit without time-based reminders, it will be synced as an all-day event.

  • For a habit with time-based reminders, each reminder will be synced as an event of the habit. Reminder time will be the start time.

  • The description of your habit will be synced, too, as the description of the event.

View your habits in Google Calendar

In your Google Calendar, a new calendar Habitify will be created for all the habit events synced from Habitify.

This can help you manage the events more easily when you can modify all the habit events by manage the Habitify calendar only.

Disconnect Habitify from your Google Calendar

To disconnect Habitify from your Google Calendar and remove all habit events at once:

  • In the Habitify app, go to Settings

  • Find Integration, tap on Google Calendar

  • Tap on Disconnect button

  • Refresh your Google Calendar

Limitations

  • If you delete the calendar Habitify from your Google Calendar, later change will not be synced. Please disconnect the integration and repeat the step to connect.

  • Archiving or deleting your habit from Habitify will remove all the habit's event in your Google Calendar.

  • Deleting all events or deleting all future events of the habit from Google Calendar will not mark your habit as Skipped or Failed.
