In your Habitify Circle, two key statistics measure your group's collective success and drive: the Unity Streak and Momentum Points. While both are powered by completing habits, they track different aspects of your team's performance.

Understanding the Unity Streak

The Unity Streak is the ultimate measure of your Circle's daily consistency. It shows how many days in a row every active member of the Circle has completed at least one of their shared habits.

Here are The 5 Rules to keep the Unity Streak of your Circle alive:

1. All for One, One for All 🀝

The chain is only as strong as its weakest link. The streak continues only if every active member completes at least one habit. If even one person misses a day, the chain breaks, and the streak resets to zero.

2. The Right Kind of Habit Counts 🎯

Not all habits can power the streak. To count, a shared habit must:

  • Have a daily goal (like "run 2km," not just a simple check-off).

  • Be scheduled for today. A Monday habit can't help on a Tuesday.

3. "Done" is the Only Way βœ…

Marking a habit as 'Skipped' or 'Failed' is the same as not doing it. Only habits marked as 'Done' will count towards keeping the streak alive for that day.

4. Taking a Break is Okay (The 'OFF MODE' Rule) ⏸️

Life gets busy. If a member turns on OFF MODE, they are given a "free pass." The streak can continue without them, and they won't be responsible for breaking the chain while they are away.

5. The Frozen Streak (When Everyone is Away) ❄️

If every single member of the Circle is in OFF MODE at the same time, the streak doesn't break. Instead, it freezes. It will be preserved safely until the first person returns and completes a habit.

Understanding Momentum Points

Momentum Points are the simplest measure of your Circle's total effort. This statistic shows the raw output of the group.

The rule is straightforward:

  • 1 Completed Habit = 1 Momentum Point

Every time any member completes any shared habit, one point is added to the Circle's total Momentum score, regardless whether it is a habit with goal per day, per week, or per month. It’s a running total of all the positive actions taken by the group.

All members can get a intuitive view on the Momentum Points of the Circle, including:

  • A trend chart that represents the Momentum Points of each day in the last 30 days.

  • A total Momentum Point of the current week with the Monday as the First day of the week. Once a new week starts (a new Monday comes), the Momentum Point of the week will be reset to 0.

When Does Progress Start Counting?

This is a critical rule for all new members and newly shared habits:

Your habit progress will be counted towards both the Unity Streak and Momentum Points starting from the day after the day you share the habit.

For example, if you join a Circle and share three habits on a Wednesday, your completions for that Wednesday will not affect the group's stats. Your progress will start contributing to the Unity Streak and Momentum Points from Thursday onwards.
