The Unity Streak is the powerful, collective streak for your entire Circle. It grows every day that every single member successfully completes a shared habit, making it a great tool for shared accountability.
However, you might notice that sometimes, even when you complete a habit, your action doesn't seem to contribute to the Unity Streak. This is usually due to one of two specific rules about how the streak is calculated. This guide will explain them.
Reason 1: The Habit Goal Is Not Daily
This is the most common reason. The Unity Streak is designed to be a measure of day-by-day, collective consistency. Because of this, it has one very important requirement:
The Unity Streak only tracks habits that have a "Goal per day."
Completions for habits with a weekly, monthly, or yearly goal will not be counted towards the Unity Streak.
Why? The streak is a daily measure. If a habit's goal is weekly (e.g., "Exercise 3 times a week"), it's not expected to be completed every single day, which doesn't fit the "everyone, every day" logic of the Unity Streak.
Solution: To contribute to your Circle's Unity Streak, please ensure that the habits you share are set up with a daily goal.
Reason 2: The Habit Was Shared Today
To ensure every member has a fair chance to see and start a new shared habit, the Unity Streak calculation for a new habit begins on the day after it is added to the Circle.
Example: If an Admin shares a new habit with the Circle on a Monday, any completions on that same Monday will not count towards the Unity Streak. The first day the streak will begin tracking for that habit is Tuesday.

If you have checked the two reasons above and your completion is still not counting, it may be a technical issue. Please check the following before reaching out:
Is the habit's goal set to be per day?
Was the habit shared with the Circle yesterday or even earlier?
If you answered "Yes" to both of those questions and your Unity Streak is still not updating correctly, we would be happy to investigate.
