The Header Bar: Your Controls
At the top of your Journal, you'll find a few key controls:
Journal Name (Left Side): By default, this is named "Journal," but you can tap on it to edit the name to anything you like (e.g., "My Daily Plan," "Today's Focus").
"Tip to Master" Collection: On the right, by tapping on the graduation hat icon, you'll find a collection of helpful resources, including quick guides to get you started
Sort button: next to the "Tip to Master" collection that allows you to quickly reorder your "All Habits" list.
The Area Bar: Filtering Your Habits
Below the header is the Area Bar, which acts as a powerful filter for your daily list. Tapping on any of these will show you only the habits within that group.
All Habits: The default view, showing every habit scheduled for today.
Time of Day Areas: Filter your list to see only the habits you've assigned to Morning, Afternoon, or Evening.
Your Custom Areas: Any custom areas you've created (like "Work," "Health," or "Fitness") will appear here, allowing you to focus on one part of your life at a time.
How Your Habits are Organized in the Journal
To help you prioritize and understand your progress, the Journal view automatically categorizes your habits into several groups based on their goal period and status. Habits will move between these sections as you interact with them throughout the day.
Here is the order in which they appear:
Good Habits (Daily Goal): Your daily good habits appear at the very top, as they are your primary focus for the day.
Bad Habits (Daily Goal): Next are the bad habits you are tracking for the day.
This Week: This section contains all habits (both good and bad) that have a weekly goal.
This Month: This section contains all habits with a monthly goal.
This Year: This section contains all habits with a yearly goal.
Once you interact with a habit, it moves to one of the status-based sections at the bottom:
Completed: Habits that you have successfully completed for the day (or for bad habits, successfully avoided or stayed under your limit).
Skipped: Any habits you have marked as "skipped." Your streak is protected for these.
Failed: Any habits you have marked as "failed." Your streak will be broken for these.
This automatic organization ensures that your list always shows you what's left to do, while keeping a clear record of what you've already accomplished.
