The order of your habits in the "All Habits" list is separate from how they are ordered inside a specific "Time of Day" or a "Custom Area." Here is how to master your sorting in each of these three places.
Quick sorting all habits on Journal view
On the Journal view, you can see a sorting button in the top right corner.
Tap on the button and choose an option to sort your habits:
Alphabetical: alphabetically by their name
Reminder Time: by the upcoming reminders
My Habits Order: by the custom order, you set on your own
Manage your custom order of "All Habits"
To make a change to the custom order for option My Habits Order:
Tap on Reorder, or go to Settings > Manage habits
For each habit, there is a 3-line icon on the right. Hold on to the icon and drag it up and down to change its order in the list.
Manage habit order within a "Time of Day"
When you filter your Journal by a specific Time of Day (like Morning, Afternoon, or Evening), the app uses a completely separate order. This allows you to arrange your morning habits in the exact sequence you actually do them (e.g., "Make Bed" before "Brush Teeth").
How to set your Time of Day order:
Go to the Settings tab.
Tap on Time Of Day.
Tap on the specific Time of Day you want to organize (e.g., "Morning").
You will see a list of all the habits assigned to that time. Tap, hold, and drag them to modify their order.
Manage habit order in a custom area
Please note that all ways to sort above are only applied for the All Habit list and the default Time of day area.
For the habit order in each custom area, you manage it separately:
Go to Settings
On Android, tap on Manage Areas
On iOS, tap on All Areas
Tap on an area
For each habit, there is a 3-line icon on the right. Hold on to the icon and drag it up and down to change its order in the list.
