On iOS, Habitify can show your habit reminder as a Live Activity. You may see a ☑️ (checkmark) button on the Live Activity.

What does the ☑️ button do?

The ☑️ button is designed to mark the habit as completed for the day in one tap.

Because this action is shared across all goal types (1 time/day, x times/day, duration goals, etc.), it will complete the habit to its daily goal.

Example: If your habit goal is Drink Water 5x/day and you are currently at 1/5, tapping ☑️ on the Live Activity will mark the habit as 5/5.

How to log partial progress (e.g., +1)

  1. Tap on the Live Activity (not the ☑️ button) to open Habitify.

  2. Log your progress inside the app (e.g., tap ✓ 1 or use Log Progress).

Tips

  • If you track habits with multiple check-ins per day, using the in-app ✓ 1 button (or Log Progress) is the best way to ensure each reminder adds only one unit.
