How to Add One-Time Tasks within a Habit

An example of habit tasks

For example, to complete the habit of Drink Water, you have a to-do list including as below:

  • Get a water bottle

  • Put the water bottle by the bed

  • Drink water after waking up

Guide to habit tasks

  1. From Journal, tap on a habit to go to the Single Progress view of the habit

  2. Switch to the "About" tab.

  3. In the "Tasks" section, tap the "+" button to add a new task.

  4. Enter the task name, choose the date and time as your preference.

  5. Tap "Done" on your keyboard to add the task to the list.

FAQs

Will I receive notifications on tasks?

Yes, Habitify does support notifications on the reminders for tasks.

How can I make tasks inside of a habit repeat daily?

The task is not supported to repeat daily yet. It is a one-time task.

To have a repitive lists, you can use the function Checklist that is available in the detailed settings of your habit.

How can I review the completed tasks?

Once you complete a task, it will be removed from the "About" tab.

However, you are still able check your completed tasks:

  • In the single progress view of your habit, tap on 3-dot menu button on the top right corner

  • Tap on Manage Action List

This allows you to review your progress and keep track of the tasks you've taken to maintain the habit.
