How to Record Mood

Tracking your mood is crucial for habit formation. Positive emotions can help turn a behavior into a habit.

By recording your mood alongside your habit progress, you can see how they're connected and adjust your habits to maintain a positive mood and improve your overall well-being.

Guide to tracking your mood

Take these steps to record your mood with Habitify

  1. Tap the round blue "+" button in the Journal to see th mood options

  2. Choose an emoticon representing your current mood.

    There are 5 moods: terrible, bad, okay, good, and excellent.

  3. Optionally, you can choose a tag and add text notes to elaborate on what contributed to your mood.

  4. Tap Done to save your mood log

Log mood for a previous day

You can custom the date & time of your mood log by these following steps:

  1. Tap the round blue "+" button in the Journal to see th mood options

  2. Above the mood options, tap on Change

  3. Choose the date & time as your preference, then tap on Done

  4. Choose the mood option

If it is within the last 30 days, you can scroll back to the journal view of the chosen date to see the mood log you just record.

Delete a mood log

To delete a mood log, go to the Journal of the date when you logged the mood log.

Then, swipe left the mood log and choose Delete.

FAQs

Where can I see all the mood logs I recorded?

There is no place to collect all mood logs or notes on mood logs yet. You can see the mood & notes on the mood log by going back to a date and tapping on the mood log.

How can I add the custom tag for my mood record?

Currently, there is no option of custom tag for mood record. You can suggest to the team on our feedback site https://feedback.habitify.me.
