Overview: a snapshot of your progress

The Overview section presents you with three key numbers that summarize your habit journey:

  • All habits: Know how many habits you have in your Habitify app.

  • Active: These are the habits on which you have made progress recently.

  • Stalled: On the other hand, stalled habits are those on which you haven't made any progress for at least one day, based on their repeat interval.

Having this clear overview allows you to understand the overall status of your habits and identify areas where you need to focus your attention.

Mood chart: get insight into your feelings

To view the mood chart in the overall progress view, you need to have at least one mood log recorded within the selected time range.

The mood report consists of two charts:

  • The vertical column chart displays the average mood of each day over the selected time range. This chart is useful for identifying patterns and trends in your mood, such as whether your mood tends to be better or worse on certain days.

  • The horizontal chart, on the other hand, displays the number of logs for each type of mood. This chart is useful for identifying which moods you experience most often and can help you to better understand your emotional state.

By reviewing both charts, you can gain valuable insights into your mood and make any necessary adjustments to improve your overall well-being.

For the average mood score calculation, we have marked the 5 moods with 5 values:

  • Terrible equals 1;

  • Bad equals 2;

  • Okay equals 3;

  • Good equals 4;

  • Excellent equals 5.

Completion Rate: monitor your progress

In the Completion Rate section, you can view the average completion rate across all your habits. This helps you understand how well you are keeping up with your habits on average.

AVG completion rate

The formula for the overall AVG completion rate is

AVG completion rate = (total completion rate of all days)/ number of days

For example:

Completion rate of each day

The completion for each day will be calculated as below:

Daily Completion rate = (total completion rate of all habits)/number of habits

For example:

Important notes

  • For Daily good habits, completion rate = total logged value/goal

  • For Weekly and Monthly good habits:

    • if the current day's total logged value is 0, the completion rate of the habit will be 0%

    • if the current day's total logged value is more than 0, the completion rate of the habit will be 100%

    • if the goal has already been accomplished before, but today's total logged value is 0, the completion rate is still 0%

  • For Bad habits:

    • if the current day's total logged value is 0, the completion rate is 100%

    • if the current day's total logged value is more than 0, the complete rate is 0%

Daily completion rate chart

The completion rate chart will give you a visualization of your performance through dates in the selected time range.

Number of days by completion status

Under the completion rate chart, you can see the number of days counted by the completion status:

  • Perfect: days with a 100% completion rate

  • Partial: days with a completion rate of more than 0% and less than 100%

  • Missed: days with a 0% completion rate

This breakdown gives you valuable insights into the consistency of your habit-building efforts.

Performance by days in a week

Furthermore, a chart displays your overall progress on each day of the week, allowing you to pinpoint which days you perform best and which days might need improvement.

The darkest color represents the number of perfect days. The moderate one represents the partial days, and the lightest one represents the missed days.

Here is how it calculates and represents the performance of each day in a week on the bar:

The whole bar for each day is equally to 100%

For example, from Nov 1, 2024 to Nov 31, 2024, there are 4 Mondays.
- Number of perfect Monday = 2
- Number of partial Monday = 1
- Number of missed Monday = 1

Darkest color = % of perfect Monday = (2/4)*100% = 50%
Moderate color = % of partial Monday = (1/4)*100% = 25%
Lightest color = % of missed Monday = (1/4)*100% = 25%

> The bar for Monday is seperated into 4 parts with 2 parts in the darkest color, 1 part in the moderate color, and 1 part in the lightest color.

Details on habits: track performance on each habit

Finally, the Progress Tab offers you an in-depth view of each habit's performance. For every habit, you can access the following information:

With these detailed insights, you can make informed decisions to optimize your habits and improve your overall performance.
