Using "Sign in with Apple" is a fast, secure, and private way to create your new Habitify account. This guide will walk you through the process and explain some important details, including how Apple's "Hide My Email" feature works.
⚠️ Important Note Before You Start
Please review these two key points before creating your account:
For New Accounts Only: The "Sign in with Apple" option is only for creating a new Habitify account.
Cannot Link to Existing Accounts: It is not possible to link an existing Habitify account (one that was created with a different email and password or with Google) to an Apple ID after it has been created.
Understanding Apple's "Hide My Email" Feature
When you sign up, Apple gives you two privacy options: "Share My Email" or "Hide My Email."
If you choose "Hide My Email," Apple creates a unique, random email address for you (e.g., <random-characters>@privaterelay.appleid.com). This is the actual email that will be linked to your Habitify account. All communications from us will be sent to this private relay address and then securely forwarded by Apple to your real email inbox.
How to find your Private Relay email for Habitify: You can find this unique address at any time by going to your iPhone's Settings > [Your Name] > Password & Security > Apps Using Your Apple ID, and then selecting Habitify.
Step-by-Step Sign-Up Guide
On the sign-up screen after the Onboarding Journey, tap the "Continue with Apple" button.
On the pop-up screen, choose whether to "Share My Email" or "Hide My Email."
Tap "Continue".
Verify your action with your Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode as required by Apple.
That's it! Your account is now created, and you can start your habit-building journey right away.
