My transaction can't be completed on Android app: troubleshooting

When you receive an error message that your transaction can't be completed from Google,

You might encounter this error message when purchasing the Premium subscription via Play Store.

Let’s start with some troubleshooting steps below:

Try a different payment method

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Play Store app.

  2. Go back to the item you want to buy & tap the price.

  3. Next to the current payment method tap the Down arrow and then Payment methods.

  4. Choose a different payment method or add a new one.

  5. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete your purchase.

Clear the cache/data for the Play Store

  1. Open your device's Settings > Apps or Application manager

  2. Locate and tap the Google Play Store

  3. Tap Force stop > Tap Clear cache/data.

Check that your card address matches the address in Google Payments

  1. If your credit card is registered to a different address that can cause the payment to be declined. Check the ZIP code that matches your current address.

  2. Sign in to https://payments.google.com with your Google Account.

  3. Find the payment method you are trying to use for the purchase.

  4. Click Edit.

Check that the address listed matches the billing address of your card.

  1. If needed, update the address.

  2. Then, try your purchase again.
