If you created a group in the Hallow app, you can delete it at any time. Please note that only group admins have permission to delete a group.
Before deleting a group, make sure to remove all other members first, groups can only be deleted once you are the last remaining member.
How to Remove Someone from a Church or Group
If you need to remove a member from your group, follow these steps:
Go to your Church or Group.
Below the group name, you’ll see options like Info / Members / Invite / Small Groups.
Tap Info.
Tap Settings.
Tap Manage Members.
Find the member you want to remove.
Tap the three-dot icon (⋯) beside their name.
Select Remove from Group.
Once all members have been removed, you’ll have the option to delete the group completely.
How to Delete a Group in the App
Go to your Church tab or Group page.
Tap the group name you want to delete.
Tap Info.
In the upper-right corner, tap the three-dot menu (⋯).
Tap Delete Group.
Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Deleting a group permanently removes all messages, posts, and shared reflections from that group. However, any prayer requests or reflections you personally shared will still appear in your Me tab under Prayer Requests or Intentions and Reflections.
