Typical Engraving Timeline

Most Hampden custom engravings are completed in about two weeks from start to finish. Here’s what that process looks like:

  1. Design Consultation — Once you place your order, your complimentary Design Concierge session is scheduled (or completed via email).

  2. Digital Proof Creation (3–5 Business Days) — After your design consultation, our team prepares a detailed digital preview for your review and approval.

  3. Production & Engraving (10 Business Days) — Once you approve your design, engraving begins in our Chicago workshop. Every caseback is individually engraved, inspected, and finished by hand.

  4. Shipping & Delivery — You’ll receive tracking updates as soon as your watch leaves our workshop.

⏱️ Estimated Total Timeline: 13–15 business days from design to shipment.

Projects That May Take Longer

Some designs require a bit of extra time. Please allow for additional days if your engraving includes:

  • Highly detailed artwork or illustrations

  • Multi-element layouts or logo compositions

  • Extended correspondence or multiple proof revisions

Your Design Concierge will always share an updated estimate if your project is more complex.
