If you’re already benefiting from HandsHQ’s Basic, Advanced or Pro plan, upgrading to Small Teams could take your processes even further — enabling better collaboration, greater control, and a more streamlined way to manage risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) as your business scales. This article outlines nine reasons you should consider upgrading your plan.

The Small Teams RAMS plan includes:

1. Folders for organisation (just launched!)

Using folders, you can group your RAMS documents by project, client, or team, making it easier to manage larger volumes of work. This is especially useful for companies running multiple sites or handling complex operations.

2. Multiple users (up to 10)

Empower your team by giving colleagues access to HandsHQ. Whether they’re creating RAMS, adding site-specific knowledge, or overseeing project compliance, with more logins, everyone can collaborate more effectively. Access controls allow you to manage permissions and ensure the right people have the appropriate level of access.

3. Master content editing

Gain full control over your RAMS content with content editing capabilities. Permanently add custom risks, and sequences of operations, or adjust the default document structure to reflect your organisation’s way of working. These updates are saved in your content library for future use.

💡 Companies like Verus Group made the switch from Pro to Small Teams to support their growing workforce and maintain high standards across every project. Read more about their experience here.

4. Project review dates

Stay compliant with scheduled RAMS reviews. With project review dates, you can set reminders for quarterly, bi-annual or annual reviews — ensuring documents stay current and relevant. Quickly track review statuses and send reminders from within the platform.

5. Digital signatures

With digital signatures, personnel can sign RAMS directly on their own devices—on-site or remotely. This speeds up the approval process and ensures that everyone signs the latest version of the document, thanks to integrated version control.

6. Construction phase plans

If your organisation ever acts as a Principal Contractor, access to a clear and comprehensive Construction Phase Plan is essential. The Small Teams plan includes the ability to generate a CPP, following HSE guidance. Our EHS specialist, CFIOSH Rob Bullen, is the creator behind the HandsHQ CPP template.

7. Single Sign-On (SSO)

Make login seamless and secure with Single Sign-On. SSO allows your users to log in using their existing credentials, reducing the need to manage multiple passwords and enhancing data security.

8. RAMS analytics dashboard

Monitor RAMS activity and identify trends with the analytics dashboard. Gain insights into live RAMS, top risks and document creation frequency — all in one place.

9. Higher RAMS allowance (up to 200)

As your business grows, so does your document volume. The Small Teams plan includes up to 200 RAMS per year to ensure you have the capacity to support more projects and teams — without worrying about limits.
