Harpie is Sunsetting Harpie Advanced Security
After three incredible years, we’re officially sunsetting Harpie Advanced Security on March 7th. We deeply appreciate everyone who contributed to its success and used the product to safeguard their funds.
Harpie Advanced Security has played a major role in securing our users' assets, helping recover over 558 ETH ($1.2M) from potential thieves!
Why We’re Sunsetting Harpie Advanced Security
Harpie Advanced Security has been a core part of our platform, providing real-time protection against private key theft, signature scams, and phishing. However, we've been running the Advanced Security frontrunner free-of-charge for 3 years now, and we've made the difficult decision to sunset it as it's been unsustainable to maintain with the rapid increase in users this past month.
This isn’t goodbye forever—just a pause. Once we can reintroduce Harpie Advanced Security in a sustainable way, we plan to bring it back better than ever!
What to Do As a User
To keep your assets secure, we recommend the following best practices:
Use secure wallets – If you have valuable NFTs and tokens in a browser hot wallet, consider moving your assets to a hardware wallet or multi-signature wallet for enhanced security against private key theft.
Keep your private keys and seed phrases safe – Make sure your private keys are stored safely offline and not stored online, like in a cloud provider like Google Drive or One Drive. If they are, consider moving your assets to a more secure wallet.
Use the Harpie RPC for transactions – The Harpie RPC remains active and offers protection for your onchain transactions.

What’s Next?
Our focus moving forward will be on maintaining and improving the Harpie RPC, email alerts, and wallet scan. To stay active with Harpie's development, consider turning on notifications to Harpie's social media.
Thank you for being part of this journey with us—we couldn’t have done it without you.
