Network Layer Security
Harpie 2FA operates on the network layer of your wallet. Just like how you would switch between "Ethereum Mainnet" and "Polygon Mainnet," you use Harpie 2FA by switching to the Harpie 2FA network.
Risks of Adding New Networks
Adding a new network has its own set of risks. For the sake of transparency, those risks are listed below:
Inaccurate Blockchain Data: A network can lie to you about the state of the blockchain; instead of correctly listing the amount of a certain asset you own, a network may show a different value.
Transaction Publicity: A network can publicize your transaction before it gets sent to the blockchain. This information could be valuable; for example, if you're placing a large order on a low-volume asset, some parties may profit by modifying the exchange rate prior to your trade being executed.
Harpie’s Commitment to Transparency and Security
Harpie does not, and will never lie to you about the state of the blockchain, nor send details about your transaction to anyone besides yourself. The above risks are listed because it's our duty to let you know about every possible risk, including the risks inherent in our own products.
