Scale Integration (MTS / Strong Data)

Use Hauler Hero’s Disposal Ticket Integration to weigh inbound/outbound in the MTS / Strong Data mobile app. Completed tickets sync automatically to the web, where office teams match them to work orders for faster, more accurate billing.

The Disposal Ticket Integration allows drivers to create digital disposal tickets using a partnered third-party scale provider. Drivers weigh their truck in the mobile app (MTS or Strong Data), and the ticket data automatically syncs into the Hauler Hero web for office staff to process and match to work orders.

This workflow reduces manual data entry, improves accuracy, and speeds up billing.

Important (Read Before You Start)

Before you can use the disposal ticket integration, the following must be completed:

  • An MTS (My Truck Scales) or Strong Data account/subscription is required.

  • To set up the integration with Hauler Hero, email integrations@haulerhero.com with your unique ID from MTS or Strong Data.

    • The integrations team will add the key, enable the integration, and confirm when you’re connected.

  • Site Mapping is a manual setup step and must be completed after the connection is established.

How the Integration Works

Once your scale account is connected and Site Mapping is complete:

  1. Drivers weigh inbound and outbound using the mobile app for MTS/Strong Data

  2. The scale provider generates a digital ticket

  3. The ticket automatically appears in Hauler Hero → Billing → Disposal Tickets

  4. Office staff match the ticket to the correct work order for billing

What You Need

✅ Before a driver can create a disposal ticket, make sure they have:

  • The Hauler Hero mobile app installed

  • A valid MTS or Strong Data account & their mobile app installed

  • Their account number and PIN

  • Access to an enabled scale kiosk

Driver Workflow (Mobile App)

Step 1: Connect to Scale

  1. Open the MTS / Strong Data mobile app

  2. Go to the Weigh tab

  3. Tap Connect to Scale

  4. Select Weigh Truck

Step 2: Select Kiosk + Verify Account

  1. Choose the correct Kiosk

  2. Enter your Account Number and PIN

  3. Tap Verify

Step 3: Weigh In (Inbound)

  1. On the Weigh In screen, tap Weigh Now

  2. Once the inbound weight is captured, tap Next

Step 4: Select Material / Product

  1. Tap SELECT PRODUCTS

  2. Choose the material being disposed of

  3. Tap Done

  4. Tap Next

Step 5: Finish Inbound Ticket

  1. Review inbound weight details

  2. Tap Finish

    • This saves the inbound portion of the disposal ticket.

Step 6: Weigh Out (Outbound)

After dumping the load:

  1. Return to the Weigh tab

  2. Tap Connect to Scale

  3. Tap Continue Current

    • This ensures the outbound weight is applied to the same disposal ticket.

  4. Re-verify your account if prompted

Step 7: Complete the Ticket

  1. Tap Weigh Now to capture outbound weight

  2. Tap Next

  3. Review the ticket summary (including Net Weight)

  4. Tap Finish

✅ The digital disposal ticket is now complete and will automatically sync into the Hauler Hero web platform.

Office Workflow (Hauler Hero Web)

Step 1: Find the Ticket

  1. Go to Billing → Disposal Tickets

  2. Locate the ticket in the Unprocessed list

    • Newly created tickets appear here automatically.

Step 2: Match Ticket to a Work Order

  1. Select the checkbox next to:

    • The disposal ticket

    • The correct work order

  2. Click Match

  3. Confirm the match

✅ The ticket is now linked and ready for accurate billing.
